Pre-Placement Training- How does it work effectively?

Pre-placement training offered to the students constitutes of basically preparing them to face the corporate interviews and written tests conducted by them with confidence. By understanding the needs of the recruiters/corporate bodies various modules have been designed and offered to both juniors and senior students. Pre-placement training is a continuous process divided into a number of modules. Rigorous training is imparted to the MBA students during 2nd, 3rd and 4th semesters at regular spells. This enables them to equip them with corporate skills. Imparting Employable Skills Set is the crux of the training programmes.

When other colleges declared summer vacation our students have undergone a two weeks pre-placement training programme for 2nd sem students in May, 2012. In the 2nd semester each student will do Financial Statements Analysis by selecting a listed company as and presentation as a Mini Project though not specified by the University.

The technical skills include imparting subject knowledge in the domain areas Finance, Marketing and Human Resources Management followed by conducting model examinations and mock tests evaluating the students to know where they stand and counseled by faculty from time to time.

The faculty includes expert trainers from other places like Delhi and Chennai apart from internal faculty resources.
